I have the Komplete package. I installed a bunch of the plugins through native access but I can only get Massive to show up on ableton. For example, Drumlab says it is installed and I made sure to tell Ableton to search in the folder it says its installed in, but nothing shows up on ableton. If I had to guess, your vst’s which are not showing up are 32 bit. Ableton 10 only supports 64 bit unless you stayed with the discontinued 32 bit version. /enhancer-vst-free.html. Live might crash during the scanning process if an incorrect VST directory has been chosen, for example the root directory of the C: drive. VST plug-ins are.dll files. Live can not distinguish VST.dlls from other.dlls, for example drivers. If the custom VST folder contains non-VST.dlls, Live might crash as it tries to interpret them as VSTs.
Hi I re installed everything because my MacBook died and I had to repair. Everything is working except Melodyne which no longer shows in plugins. I had a look in the vst and vst3 folder and its there. Did several scans including holding down the option key but still nothing. Anyone can please offer advise? Im using Live 9.7.7 and Melodyne 2.1.2.I noticed in prefs - plugin sources that there is no option to use vst3 folders as this page show - https://help.ableton.com/hc/en-us/artic . ar-in-Live

I have just started using the Ableton demo, and cannot get the Korg M1 I own to show in the plugins window.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MCBle9iqdyw.and successfully got the Effectrix plugin to appear. I just created a folder called 'VSTs' on my C drive and saved it to there. However after copying my Korg M1 folder to the same location, it doesn't show up in Ableton. I've tried with the whole folder in there and also just the M1.dll file in there.

Can you not use VSTs in the demo version of Ableton? Or is there something else wrong with either the way I am trying to set it up or with the Korg software?
